Everyone

  • In lists: ✏ blue edits the row in place, ✓ green saves the change, ✕ cancels, 🗑 red deletes (asks first).
  • The boxes under a list heading are filters: type part of a name or date to narrow the list. ✕ Clear All removes them.
  • On phones, long lists show each row as a small card (column name on the left, value on the right).
  • Money boxes add commas as you type and show the amount in Urdu words underneath, so mistakes like an extra zero are easy to spot.
  • A dark pop-up at the top says Saved ✓; a red pop-up explains an error.

  3. Tap ✏ to change the numbers; wages are corrected automatically.
  4. Tap 🗑 to delete. Some deletes are owner-only.
RememberIf a day is closed by the owner (a lock note appears), only the owner can change it. See lesson 33.

  3. ‹ › in the panel moves to the previous or next line; ✕ closes.
  4. The panel shows loading date, firing date, cooling date, bricks, coal, notes on issues, and the history of earlier rounds.

The Line No list shows the line on fire, preheating lines and the next 15 loaded lines (after 240 it continues at 1).

14

Unloading (Nikasi)

Munshi
  1. Tap a light yellow (Ready) line, choose the unloader or team, and tap Assign Unloader Team. The line turns blue.
  2. When the line is empty, open it again, type Awwal, Doem, Khangar and Broken, and tap Save Counts.
  3. The line becomes empty, stock goes up and the unloader's wages are credited.

The Unloading quick form does both steps in one save. Owner: Cancel Nikasi removes a team assigned by mistake.

15

Workers

Owner, munshi
  1. Home › People › Workers.
  2. Fill Name, Father Name, CNIC, Date of Birth, Category, Mobile No., Opening Peshgi (0 if none) and Agreed Daily Bricks. These are required.

  4. Tap + Add Worker.

The list shows each worker's mobile, peshgi balance and daily bricks, for counter-checking with the worker. Mark Signed records the contract.

AgeThe app warns when a worker's date of birth shows they are under age. Keep CNIC and contract records complete for inspections.
16

  1. Home › People › Peshgi, or the Peshgi quick form.
  2. Pick the worker. Their outstanding peshgi shows at the top.

Dasti and Thursday settlement

Owner, accountant

During the week: Dasti

Cash a worker takes before Thursday. Enter it on the Worker Day Card, the Dasti quick form, or Home › People › Hafta Hisab › Dasti.

Thursday: Hafta Hisab

  1. Check Owner Summary on Wednesday for the cash needed (lesson 25).
  2. Open Hafta Hisab. Choose the category and the week's start and end dates.
  3. Tap Propose. Each worker's bricks, wages, peshgi cut, dasti already taken and cash to pay are calculated.
  4. Change any amount if needed, then tap Save and Settle.
  5. In Recent Settlements, tap Print Slip for one slip per worker to hand out.

Formula: wages − peshgi cut (per 1,000) − dasti = cash on Thursday.

18

Khata

Owner, accountant

Tap Khata in the bottom bar. Two boxes:

  • Worker Khata: pick any worker (moulder, loader, fireman, munshi, office boy). Every entry from day one, like the paper khata: Naam (given), Jama (earned) and the running Baqaya.
  • Party Accounts: everyone else (lesson 19).
19

Party Accounts

Owner, accountant, munshi

For anyone who is not a worker or customer: the mistri who built the kiln, a tractor owner, coal and soil suppliers, diesel.

  1. Khata › Party Accounts, then Add New Entry.
  2. Type the name (earlier names appear as you type), choose the type and check Jama (owed to them) or Naam (paid to them).
  3. Types: Work Bill and Rent / Service are Jama; Payment Made and Advance Given are Naam.
  4. Type the amount, mode of payment and a note. Tap + Add.

All Entries shows each party's running balance; Generate Report gives one party or everyone for a date range, with Export PDF.

AutomaticEvery purchase (lesson 21) posts to its supplier as Jama by itself. Record what you pay them as Payment Made, and the balance shows what is still owed.

Example — Kashif Mistri: each bill for his work is a Work Bill (Jama); every payment to him is Payment Made (Naam). His balance is what the kiln still owes him.

20

Sales, bookings and challans

Owner, accountant, munshi

New customer

Booking (Parchi)

  1. Tab Booking: customer, grade, quantity booked and the advance received.

  4. Tap New Invoice. The Delivery Challan opens with a challan number: Print Slip or WhatsApp it to the customer.

Payment received

Tab Record Payment: tap the unpaid bill, check the amount and mode, and save. The summary cards show total receivable and how overdue it is.

Munshi, accountant
  1. Home › Money › Purchases, or the Purchase quick form.
  2. Choose the Item. For a new item, pick + Add New Item.
  3. Type the Supplier name exactly the same each time, so all their purchases land in one party account.
  4. Coal: vehicle number, quantity in tonnes, rate per tonne, freight, and optional lab tests. Other items: description, quantity and rate.
  5. Tap + Add. Coal stock rises (tonnes × 1,000 kg) and the supplier's party account gets the full amount as Jama.
Payments are not purchasesMoney paid to a supplier or mistri goes in Party Accounts as Payment Made, not here.
22

Cash Book and cash count

Owner, accountant
  1. Home › Money › Cash Book. Pick the day.
  2. Cards: Opening Cash, Total In (payments and booking advances), Total Out (expenses, purchases, peshgi, dasti), Closing Cash.
  3. At the end of the day, count the notes in hand and type the amount in Cash Count, then Save.
  4. Green means it matches the book. Red shows the difference: find the missing entry before closing the day.
23

Personal Finance

Owner only · private

The owner's own money, kept apart from the kiln: borrowing, loans given, repayments, household expenses. Only the owner sees it. It works exactly like Party Accounts: Home cards and a person picker, Add New Entry, All Entries with edit in the row (edited rows stay highlighted), and Generate Report with a net option and PDF export.

24

Roznamcha

Everyone

Home › Reports › Roznamcha. Pick a date: everything done that day in time order (moulding, bharai, nikasi, sales, payments, purchases, coal, peshgi, dasti, issues, absences), with a summary count at the top. Filter by type or detail.

Owner, accountant · once a week

Home › Reports › Health Check lists figures that look wrong, each with a link to fix it: no opening stock, coal or bricks below zero, workers with no attendance for 7 days, lines ready to unload for over 15 days, purchases without a supplier. Problems and answers

Everyone

The app looks old or a new button is missing

Pull down to refresh, or close and reopen the app. Check the version number under the logo.

"Saved offline, will sync later"

No signal. Keep working; entries send themselves when the signal returns. Don't enter them twice.

Coal or stock shows a minus figure

Open Health Check. Usually opening stock is missing, or a purchase was not entered.

A line is stuck on Unloading

The nikasi was started but not finished. Finish it with the counts, or the owner taps Cancel Nikasi.

I entered something on the wrong day

Open Daily Entry for that day, delete it, and enter it on the right day. If the day is closed, ask the owner.

"Days up to … are closed by the owner"

That date is locked. Ask the owner to reopen it.

A supplier appears twice in Party Accounts

The name was typed differently (for example "Haji Coal" and "Haji Coal Co"). Edit the entries so the name is exactly the same.

I was logged out by myself

Logins renew while you use the app. After a long gap, log in again; nothing saved is lost.
